Well done. I navigate the web daily for articles pertaining to Millennials for nameless-the-movie.com. I enjoyed this one even if it doesn't fit our movie's demographic. That news article irked me too. Just a bit too "pat answer" and easy. I'm bothered that so many continually point a finger at Millennials as if their attitudes and actions are entirely their fault. Who raised them? Who educated them? Who gave them those infamous trophies that "everyone got," as they say? Who has created junk pop culture and spoonfed it to them? Who has marketed trash to them? Who handed them the technology that so many people think kids abuse? The kids didn't do it to themselves. Sure, they have to take responsibility for themselves at some point as young adults, but even that is left up largely to Gen X and Boomers to mentor, guide, encourage, and discipline.

Right: given that there is not yet any such child, you were under no obligation to create it, and the fact that it is not anywhere is not a harm to it because there is no being to be harmed. Neither is a pregnant woman under an obligation to grow cells in her body which do not yet constitute a child. Persons are not collections of cells, but sentient beings; until there is a sentient being, there is nothing with any rights.

They have a good variety of sauces, including Tzatziki Sauce. Lots of fresh vegetables and wonderful kalamati olives. Very friendly service. I have found it to be very quick and I have been there at least 5 times. Everything I have tasted has been wonderful. They have a very good rice with a good seasoning. They serve the rice with meat, if you want and a salad. My favorite item is the authentic gyro. I highly recommend them.

It
obvious that you have some very strong opinions regarding Q-Lot and
K-Lot and are very willing to voice your opinion; however, I feel
that it is necessary to respond to your recent published article and
shed some light on the issues that you clearly have exaggerated,
misrepresented, and more or less lied about.

The
first issue that I have found with your article is in the very first
paragraph.
You write that there are “many horror stories”
about these lots and you go on later to say that these stories
include rape, violence and even robbery. I would like to point out
the fact that no such “rapes” (the more proper term would be
sexual assault) have occurred in Q-lot or K-lot this year, nor have
any such “rapes” occurred in Q-lot or K-Lot during recent years.
I would also like to ask you when there has been other “violence
and robberies” in Q-Lot or K-Lot that have been proven to have
happened in those lots. The simple truth is that there ARE many
horror stories, however these are just stories that hold no validity
and by using terms like “rape, violence and robberies” you are
just continuing to fuel these horror stories and cause fear in other
people reading your article.

I
will give you credit however in the next portion of your article
where you did make a truthful statement; you're right, there is the
Husky Shuttle bus. I will disagree though when it comes to the hours,
they are not that confusing and in fact they are posted not only on
multiple websites but also in the Husky Hub (which is the “shelter”
that you mentioned in your article but you were unable to name due to
what I would call a lack of research). On multiple occasions while
waiting for the shuttle I have personally seen many different public
safety officers (the “security guards” that you also failed to
properly name) patrol the Husky Hub and have even carried on
conversations with them there which leads me to the next topic.

The
SCSU public safety department dedicates an officer from their
department to Q-lot and K-lot every single night when the sun goes
down until the sun comes up the next morning. As soon as it gets dark
an Officer is stationed Q-lot and K-lot. During the day the officers
patrol these lots as well as the rest of campus. Therefore I once
again ask where did you get your facts from, or did you even research
this topic that you are so quick to make false accusations about?

The
article then ends with saying that these lots have had this
reputation for 20 years. Perhaps I'm just nitpicking, but I'm
assuming that you are an undergrad student since there are hardly
any, if any, graduate students who park in Q-Lot. Due to the fact
that I believe you are an undergraduate student, I am led to also
believe that you are approximately 20 years old. How do you know that
these lots have had this reputation for 20 years when you, yourself
are only about 20 years old?

I
am also a student at St. Cloud State University and I am very proud
of the university that I attend. I by no means, wish to disrespect
you; however it bothers me that your article lacked truth and was
very misguiding. If you do have facts that I am unaware of, please
feel free to respond to this with your facts, however if it is just
more hearsay and misguided information please feel free to keep it to
yourself.

Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

I also find it hilarious that people use the argument that they don't want to redefine marriage. Hasn't marriage been redefined several times over the past couple thousand years? I mean, before you had to marry a woman you raped and you could marry multiple slaves, because they didn't count as people. Before the modern era, arranged marriages were a big thing. We've already redefined marriage....

This is a picture of the St Cloud Symphony Orchestra's conductor Clinton Smith and their performance on Saturday at Ritsche Auditorium. The St. Cloud State University Orchestra performed chamber works (often without a conductor) at the Great River Library on Friday at noon. The director of the Orchestra this semester is Dr. Marion Judish, you can see seated in this picture.

I find this horrible advice. As a graduate student at St. Cloud State University, I believe the students and faculty should know how important it is to make a political choice and vote. Know who you are voting for, why, and use your right to potentially make a difference. I don't care who you vote for, but everyone should try to be informed and go vote!

I strongly disagree. People should not feel like ignoring politics or not participating will make their situations any better. By not voting, we are giving up our chance to influence our futures and avoid being dominated by bribed officials. If we don't step up and make our voices heard or be active on issues that matter to us, then the person with the pocketbook will take our spot in line.

Minnesota has a concealed carry law. All it will take is one of these predators to get shot and it will make the rest of them think twice. Don't be a vunerable young person, get training and carry to protect yourselves. We have a reactive police force they can't protect you so protect yourself.
